Businesses live and die based on their ability to understand their customers. Companies can ship new products faster than ever, but none of this matters without keeping a clear pulse on what real people want.
Traditional research methods are slow, expensive, and unreliable. It's time for an overhaul. We think that companies that understand their customers better than anyone else will win — and we're determined to help them do it.

Founding team

John has 20 years of experience building products, including core experiences in Google Search & Maps. He holds a BA in Computer Science from Harvard and an MBA from Berkeley. When not working on Voicepanel, he can be found skiing in Tahoe or trying new recipes with his wife and three kids.

Asa started his career at Microsoft and worked with John at Optimizely to co-create the company's fastest growing product. Prior to Voicepanel, he co-founded Level (YC S21), acquired by Vouch. He holds a BA in Applied Math & Computer Science from Harvard and enjoys music, sailing, and breakdancing.

David is a seasoned insights executive who led consumer insights and UXR teams across companies like Ancestry, Fitbit, Eventbrite, and Clorox. He holds a BS and MEng from MIT. He also serves on the board of the Oakland Museum of California and loves exploring great food in new cities with his husband.

Aldo has been a constant source of joy and moral support for us since we started the company. He's made star appearances at our company offsites, the Y Combinator retreat, and organizes many founder walks. He's a good boy!
